Conversations at the End of Life
Saturday, September 29 9:15 – 4:00
One of the most essential things in life is to establish an unafraid, heartfelt communication with others— and it is never more important than with a dying person. The purpose of this program is to prepare, support and inspire the ministry, health care professions, behavioral health specialists and lay person in their efforts to communicate with those who are dying. Many cross-cultural attitudes toward death, dying and communication will be presented in this workshop, with an emphasis on the interpersonal communication skills necessary for relating to others in the situation of death.
