ICONOGRAPHY WORKSHOP & RETREAT
Fr. Damian of Holy Transfiguration Monastery has been painting icons for his own monastery and for churches and homes around the world–for the past 27 years. In this August 20-24 workshop and retreat, he will introduce you to the history, spirituality and techniques of traditional Byzantine Iconography. You’ll be provided with all you need to complete an icon in the egg-tempera method, using all natural pigments and 23K gold leafing.
