Wounded Souls – A Look at the Legacy of Childhood Abuse/Trauma

The spiritual wounds left behind from childhood abuse are frequently overlooked in the journey to wholeness. This 3 hour presentation will introduce those spiritual wounds, their impact on faith development and the spiritual healing journey. This presentation is geared for worship leaders.

The Rev Diane Moore and Sherry Niermann are both spiritual directors with a long history of working with directees with abuse backgrounds. Mary’s Hope grew out of their experience working with these survivors and from their own spiritual healing journeys as survivors of childhood abuses. Since it’s founding in 2000, Mary’s Hope has served 6500 survivors and their companions in workshop and retreat settings across the country. Diane and Sherry are both educators and bring a wide range of modalities to their presentations.
