Zoom-Take Nothing for the Journey? Packing for the Unknown
With Christine Eberle
June 19, 2020
The coronavirus crisis has been tough on planners. How do we prepare for what’s ahead, when we have no idea what the future will hold? It’s like packing for a trip without knowing the destination! In this session we will use “packing” as a metaphor, drawing on wisdom from Scripture as well as contemporary authors Annie Dillard, Barbara Kingsolver, Cheryl Strayed, and more. Together we will ponder what commitments, attitudes, relationships, dreams, and even possessions we want to carry with us so that we can travel lightly, responsive to God’s call.
